I am pleased to write that I have known Jody for 31 years. I began piano lessons with her when I was 5 years old. She taught me not only musicianship and theory, but also confidence, public performance management and tenacity. Learning music at a young age helped me to develop skills in multiple areas of life. She helped me to achieve my AMEB grades from Preparatory to LMusA.

At times when I had not practiced enough or my fingering was incorrect, Jody was not fooled and gave me the stern reminder that I needed! Despite the loving reprimands, spending one hour every week for 13 years with Jody made her an important part of my life and I loved every minute of it. She is a great teacher, performer and friend.
